
Amulya Purushothama is an independent researcher based out of Bangalore.
She has earned law degrees from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad ( 2015) and Stanford Law School (2019). She has taught at a number of Indian law schools including NALSAR University of Law, Hyderbad, National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat. She is interested in empirical legal studies, legal history, constitutional law, criminal law, and law and society.
She was awarded Samvidhaan Fellowship by Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy and Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives in 2020 which allowed her to conduct research presented in this blog.
